WIAA | 2021 Apprentice of the Year

WIAA Apprentice of the Year calls for recognition of excellence in the weighing industry for apprentices & trainees.  WIAA aims to recognise an individual’s contribution to a rapidly changing industry. Nominators are asked to specify the applicant’s contribution to enhancing the industry.

CONGRATULATIONS CRAIG GILBERT

Craig is a 23 year old apprentice electronics technician, his interest in electronics lead him to sourcing an apprenticeship with NWI, as a 3rd Year electrotechnology instrumentation apprentice , Craig has displayed conscientious learning of the technicians calibration requirements, he has not only picked up on the weighing instrumentation and calibration area including attaining his NITP 6.1-6.3 Limited, but also has acquired the skills in the standards calibration lab of mass standards to NATA testing requirements, assisting in the verifying of Volume calibrations ( gravimetrically) and other non gravimetrical calibrations in electrical and temperature Metrology. In his Final year Craig has become an important part of the service team and worthy of the nomination
